Migration

  • Research

We analyse migration from a global perspective and as an integral part of development and social change. Our priority is urban migration and rural seasonal migration, family health, children education and inclusive development from policy perspective.

  •  Livelihood and social security

AIPA research team and programme people collaborate in designing Sustainable Livelihoods Framework (SLF). The scope of livelihood opportunities are planned both at households or individuals level taking into consideration of three factors: (a) livelihood assets (such as human or financial capital); (b) vulnerability context (concerns such as availability of employment, conflict, or environmental degradation); and (c) structures and processes (such as the legal and policy frameworks in different locations).
