Etali has substantive experience and competencies in business development – agricultural, agribusiness, marketing and SME capacity development in India. She has worked in varying capacities in the private sector and non-governmental organizations offering managerial, advisory and consulting services in a varied portfolio of integrated projects covering agricultural production, agribusiness development, rural development, women empowerment, agri-enterprise restructuring, participatory extension management, food processing, packaging, commodity trading structures, value chain strengthening efforts and agricultural marketing.
She has worked with organizations like Dow Agro Sciences, FMC India Pvt. Ltd., The Energy and Resources Institute, Nandan Bio matrix Ltd, BASIX, Cane and Bamboo Technology Centrein different management capacities.
She has been a visiting faculty to Institute of Agribusiness Management, Bikaner. She has to her credit a number of publications in many national and international journals.
Etali has also been involved with several local and international institutions in the development of sustainable growth initiatives focusing on creating an enabling environment and critical investments aimed at poverty alleviation in production improvements, infrastructure and human resources development. She has also participated in management of comprehensive institutional strengthening, capacity building and training programmes in the Indian agribusiness sector.
Etali has had over 10 years working experience in the Agribusiness sector and has been at the forefront of advocacy initiatives on ensuring food security.
Etali holds a PGP in Agribusiness Management from National Institute of Agribusiness Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad; an M.Sc in Agriculture from Banaras Hindu University,Varanasi and have studied extensively on Intellectual Property from World Intellectual Property Organization.
She worked with Swasthya, New Delhi, Urban Health Resource Centre ( USAID funded program), CARE India, UNICEF, UNFPA Rajasthan unit, and Silicon Valley Foundation, USA.
