Bedanga Bordoloi is a sustainability development professional with over 11 years of experience. He identifies and develops opportunities for organizations to engage in frontier markets. His professional experiences revolve around business-led, multi-stakeholder initiatives that helps create innovative solutions for sustainable future. He has experience in environmental consulting, project management and rural development. As an intrapreneur, Bedanga develops new business concepts, projects and innovative business models for Base of the Pyramid (BoP) markets, incubating commercial partnerships that deploy sustainable solutions to help alleviate poverty and protect the environment. He has the ability to effectively manage people, projects and initiatives to deliver effective results by recognizing and planning for different expectations, business environments and cultural nuances found there.
He has been working on implementing different technologies to reclaim lands located in different parts of the globe to bring more area under the plough and raise various fodder/ food/ vegetable crops to increase overall agricultural production and to develop a green cover to protect the vulnerable environment from degradation.
He has played a lead role in engagements with key international organizations, working to improve policy frameworks, establish partnerships, and attract capital to build sustainable and high-impact bio-based economies around the world.
Bedanga holds a PGPABM (Agribusiness Management) from National Institute of Agribusiness Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad; an MSc in Agriculture from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is PMP certified (Project Management Professional) from PMI, USA.
